As a disabled veteran who travels with a service animal, I especially appreciated how welcoming and understanding Nate was. Being able to have my service animal with me and feel completely comfortable in the home meant a lot to me. My family and I felt very safe and at home throughout our entire stay. The house was incredibly clean, and I was genuinely impressed by how beautiful it was in person. The furniture, décor, and overall setup were very well thought out, and you can tell Nate takes pride in his home and in making sure his guests have a great experience. “We had a great stay! The home was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very accommodating, especially for kids. We absolutely loved the outdoor/playground area, the amazing views, and the lift made getting everything upstairs so much easier. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked, and we really appreciated the extra ice machine, bar fridge, grill, and additional chairs. We really enjoyed our stay and made some great memories here. “We had such a wonderful stay at this beach house! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was perfect, and we loved coming back after a day at the beach to relax. The golf cart was such a fun bonus! We loved riding around the neighborhood and to the beach—it made getting around so easy and added even more fun to our trip. And we have to mention the huge shower—it was definitely one of our favorite features! 😂 It was perfect for rinsing off all the beach sand after a day in the sun, and our family couldn’t stop talking about how much we loved it. “We stayed here for my husbands birthday with a few other couples. The house was beautiful & very clean. The cleaning crew was there for another 30 - 40 minutes after check in which made it a little weird for us cause we felt we were in their way. “Shell Yeah is absolutely beautiful! The pictures do not do this place justice. So close to the beach, the patio is beautiful and great for cooking and hanging out with the family, and the top deck is amazing to watch the patch of ocean you can see from there. “Beautiful cabin with tons of kitchen space! Enjoyed the open floor plan, nice indoor and outdoor seating, shower, golf cart and beach toys for the kids the most. Master bed was too hard for me so I folded an extra blanket I found and it helped a lot. AC works great which is a must. There are a few repairs that need to happen soon- biggest being the flooring in the kitchen. Bring bug spray for when the wind dies down in the afternoon and you want to be outside. Mosquitos do get bad sometimes. The golf cart rental was the best decision we made this whole trip! Must have in my opinion. There isn’t a long walk to the beach but it saved so much time and energy going back and forth. Nate is a wonderful host and was very responsive and helpful!”

“The house is beautiful! Lots of space for everyone and the entertainment area u see the home with the little playground and fence, as well as gated upper deck where the main reasons I chose this home, since we had littles with us. There was propane available on a clean grill that was not rusted out. The home has some normal wear and tear tear for a beach house but the planks on the kitchen floor do need to be replaced because they are coming up. The beds are so comfortable and there were tvs in every room. The Ocean is visible from the deck and there is plenty of outdoor seating. There are plenty of basic seasonings to cook with as well as plenty of dishes. There is a wine cooler and an ice machine which was a plus. The beach was very easy to walk to. There is a little ditch to the side of the property that was full and it was fun to listen to and catch frogs. Would stay again!”

“This was our first stay in Crystal Beach and we really liked the location and small town feel! We stayed overnight for a cruise so be very mindful of the drive to and from Galveston (about 20-ish minutes plus ferry wait times) Home was a bit dirty and needs maintenance. Things are very worn which is whatever but for pricing I expected nicer.”
