“This home is perfect for a family beach getaway. The house was spacious and clean with porch swings that were perfect for sipping on morning coffee and enjoying the ocean view and breeze. The location is quiet and far enough away from the rowdiness closer to town. It's perfect for a family that is in search of quiet and relaxation that is only steps to the beach. The beds were so comfortable too! Nate was very helpful and checked in on us throughout our stay. We will definitely book this home again!”

“10/10 ⭐️ We truly enjoyed our stay at Nate’s home in Bolivar! The amenities were great & it was steps away from the beach! As with any bnb, there were both pros & cons, but being away on vacation & escaping the hustle & bustle of everyday life made the positives far outweigh the negatives. We traveled with a group of 8 & the sleeping arrangements for the kids were ultimately what led us to choose this home. They loved having their own space & had zero complaints! A few things I’d recommend bringing are shampoo/conditioner/body wash & any other personal toiletries. We also found it helpful to bring laundry detergent if you plan on washing clothes before heading home. If you’re traveling with a larger group, you may also want to pick up extra coffee, sugar, and creamer with your grocery order. One thing to plan for is the ferry times, We found it helpful to follow the Galveston ferry updates for current wait times. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book this home agai”

“Enjoyed our stay. Great location for fishing, not to many people as to going further down, where there is a bunch more beachers. Priced on the higher end, but I’m sure Airbnb needs to make their fair share. Host messaged as needed, didn’t need to ask anything. We would definitely stay again, if it fit. My daughter’s complaint was they didn’t have any hammocks (spots to just relax) or things to do on the property. Table was for 4, but sleeps 10. 6person table on ground level. Games were all missing pieces. Overall it was a nice place. Nothing extraordinary but not bad at all either.”

“Space was nice and clean. It did seem like maybe no one had been in the house recently because it had a smell of being locked up. However, we opened the windows and got the air turned on and it was resolved. Nate was quick to respond and his house had everything you could need. It was one of the most furnished houses we’d been in. The only thing I would have liked is if the house was closer to the big store and ferry, but at the same time the area the house was in was nice and quiet.”

“All good except the previous clean up can do a better job so we wouldn’t have to find the floor with dirty sock. The towels all smell weird so we had to run a wash before we can use it. They could use some kind of linen smell sheets or packets to help keep on shelves for too long. The house must have been left vacant for a while without some air circulation for the day of so it took overnight for the stale air and musty smell to improve.”

“we loved everything there was about the house and definitely the view from the house to the ocean!!! The house was clean and pristine!! We were within a few feet from the ocean!! The host Nathaniel was attentive and friendly!! Even warned us to bring mosquitoe spray in case the pesky things started acting up!
