“The host was very responsive, and since this was a new listing, we expected a great experience. The house itself was nice, but unfortunately there were several issues. The hot tub was turned off when we arrived, full of spider webs and insects, and the water was very cold. We also had to add water, and it appeared the water had been sitting there for quite some time. It took about 2 hours before we could enjoy it. Even more disappointing, someone emptied the hot tub on checkout day while we still had an hour before checkout. There weren’t enough towels, only one detergent pod, no drinking water, and no kettle. We also found the late checkout fee surprising compared with other Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. The host was responsive, but the lack of basic amenities and hot tub maintenance significantly affected our experience.”
