Who we are

RPI Vacation Rentals is an independently owned vacation rental management company run by Nate Rendon. This policy covers rpivacationrentals.com: the homes you can book here and the owner inquiry form. Homes booked through Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com or another platform are also covered by that platform's own privacy policy.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run your booking or answer your inquiry:

• When you book: your name, email address, phone number, the home, your dates, number of guests and any coupon code.
• Payment card details are entered into a secure form provided by Stripe and go directly to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• When you request a revenue estimate as an owner: your name, email, phone number, the property's address and details, and anything you choose to tell us.
• When you call, text or email us: your contact details and whatever you send us.
• Technical information: like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records basic request details such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site, and we don't build marketing profiles of visitors.

Your browser keeps a temporary note of a checkout you've started so a page refresh doesn't lose it; it's cleared when you close the tab. To stop automated bookings, the booking form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser to tell people from bots.

How we use it

• To take, confirm and manage your reservation, and to take payment and any security deposit.
• To get the home ready and look after you during your stay, including sharing what's needed with the people who clean and maintain it.
• To reply to your questions and owner inquiries.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
• To keep records we're required to keep, such as for hotel occupancy taxes and accounting.

We don't send marketing email from this site.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services that make the site and your stay work:

• Hostaway, our reservation system, which holds your booking and sends your confirmation.
• Stripe, which processes card payments.
• Cloudflare, which hosts the site and provides the bot check.
• Formspree, which delivers the owner inquiry form to us by email.
• Our cleaning and maintenance crew, who receive only what they need to prepare the home.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our guests, homes or business.

How long we keep it

Reservation and payment records are kept as long as we need them for your stay and for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Checkouts that are started but not finished are cleaned up automatically. Owner inquiries are kept while we're in touch and for a reasonable time afterwards.

Keeping it secure

The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), in-progress checkout details are stored encrypted, and card details are handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it for a booking, taxes or another legal reason. Email naterendon@rpivacationrentals.com or call (281) 704-0802 and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

This site isn't meant for children, and bookings must be made by an adult. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the effective date below.
